The CAEH National Conference on Ending Homelessness is pleased to offer scholarships to selected individuals who meet the eligibility criteria and apply.  While we would like to be able to fund everyone who is interested in attending, we will have to make some difficult decisions given our limited funding.

Scholarship applications are now closed.  Thank you to those who applied. We will be in touch towards the end of July with an update to all applicants once we have had a chance to review each application.

Paula Goering Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is in honour of Dr. Paula Goering, who for over 30 years significantly contributed to research, services, and policies targeting homelessness in Canada.

In recognition of Dr. Goering’s exceptional role as a mentor to innumerable students, as a practitioner and a pioneering researcher who focused on translating research knowledge into practice, the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness has established the Paula Goering Memorial Scholarship to support students and Housing First service providers to attend the annual National Conference on Ending Homelessness.

Lived Experience Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored in part by the inclusion fee that is part of the registration for all other conference attendees.  The scholarship covers the conference registration and associated transportation and accommodation expenses, empowering individuals with lived experience of homelessness to attend the conference and share their unique and valuable perspective, thereby enriching the experience for all attendees.
